QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Origination/Client Manager, Financial Analyst, Tax Analyst, Energy Portfolio Analyst, Credit Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Microsoft Excel including cash flow modeling, asset valuations, operational and market stress scenarios, and tax equity partnership structuring; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including internal and external presentation decks, credit approval memos, and economic pricing summaries; researching renewable energy markets at federal level and different states; credit analysis of various key participant transaction counterparties such as transaction sponsors and guarantors, revenue contract counterparties, and equipment suppliers; transaction document review of renewable energy deals including with partnership and principal financing documents, offtake contracts, inter- creditor agreements, lease agreement, construction contract, equipment supply, operations and maintenance, administrative services, energy management, interconnection, shared facilities, and tax abatement agreements; advanced corporate finance modeling for financial transactions including M&A, Divestiture, IPO, and FP&A; dataset analysis and visualization through Excel models with at least 30 sheets; VBA; SQL; PowerBI; Python; Bloomberg Terminal; Capital IQ; accounting and taxation, depreciation elections and related calculations, cost segregation and asset class analysis, partnership allocations, partnership capital accounts, and book and tax basis calculations; researching current tax law and translating the results into the financial model; providing statistical analysis of downside operational stress of production, revenue, expense, and loss events; reviewing federal and state tax returns and schedule K-1.
