Drive change in the month-end process to improve transparency and efficiency in month-end results.
Ensure financial information is accurately transitioned into client allocations via defined rules and allocation processes, document approval of allocation methodologies, and log exceptions where appropriate.
Act as a resource for project management and the businesses for various projects and business initiatives related to client profitability.
Identify and drive targeted reviews for specific products or processes based on both quantitative and qualitative factors.
Communicate effectively with Business Managers, Product Managers, and Financial Controllers to deliver changes in the client reporting model.
Understand and contribute to the end-to-end control framework of the business and the function.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Excellent communication skills and executive presence including the ability to present complex and sensitive matters to Senior management, Product Managers & Business Managers across levels.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and control focus
Enthusiastic, highly motivated and effective under tight timeframes and pressure
Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization with limited local oversight ensuring timely escalation & resolution of issues.
Proven skills in identifying and resolving control issues that may impact financial results.
Good knowledge of Treasury Services products and processes, including blockchain, cash management, payment clearing processing and liquidity management
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including but not limited to VBASQLPython) and good knowledge of SAP system.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proficiency in digital solutions, particularly Alteryx and Tableau, is preferred.
Qualified accountant preferably with 4-6 years & above experience within the Financial Services industry or Product Controller experience an advantage.
