    Position summary

    tal Architecture engagement model where opportunities exist to drive increased value in collaboration with business and technology partners across Consumer and Community Banking and other business areas of focus.

    Job responsibilities

    • Provides cross-functional teams with design guidance to achieve business goals for strategic initiatives with target state business and architecture strategies in mind

    • Designs horizontal architecture solutions that need to be addressed to deliver business results for an initiative

    • Designs for reuse to maximize design efficiency, avoid redundancy and drive self service solutions to reduce the need for cross-product dependencies

    • Creates end-to-end design views across Consumer and Community Banking products, driving collaboration among key partners such as business process owners, product data owners and product architects.

    • Drives architecture decisions and consensus through ongoing collaboration across broad business and technology stakeholder groups including senior leaders

    • Provides Product Architects and Engineers with direction for when to build for economies of scale, reuse vs customized solutions, etc.

    • Drives consistency in process and deliverables across the Horizontal Architecture team

    • Creates durable, reusable Horizontal Architecture frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output across teams and functions

    • Serves as the Horizontal Architecture go-to subject matter expert

    • Champions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience

    • Advanced knowledge of software architecture and methodologies

    • Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines

    • In depth understanding of the CCB business (including foundational knowledge of its core products and services offered to Customers)

    • Advanced knowledge of application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

    • Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines

    • Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

    • Experience designing and/or delivering cloud based solutions to solve complex business problems

    • Business architecture knowledge and/or experience
