Equity and Real Estate Services, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Prime Custody and Trading Services. The scale of activity will range from single product implementations to large, complex deals involving multiple products and multiple entities and includes a range of constituents.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead execution of key implementation projects managing both direct and indirect resources across multiple locations and disciplines
Drive the client requirements gathering process, propose and influence target solutions for the client.
Ensure client requirements are understood and work closely with internal partners to design, document and ensure appropriate sign off on scope and solutions.
Own and drive project activities including, but not limited to develop and manage project delivery plans; Facilitate negotiating of client legal agreements; Execute plans with robust governance and reporting; Actively mitigate and manage project risk by coordinating timely resolution of issues; Scope containment and change management; Manage and motivate virtual working teams across multiple locations and disciplines; Execute post implementation and production satisfaction reviews to continually improve practices.
Ensure all controls and procedures are complied
Own all project communication to internal and external stakeholders
Complete all of the above while delivering high levels of internal and external client satisfaction
Contribute actively to strategy for delivering excellent client implementation services
Improve processes continuously by identifying potential tactical and strategic enhancements to implementation processes and driving results
Drive initiatives proactively within internal teams and department-wide as agreed upon
Collaborate with Sales and RFP teams in the pre-win phase to ensure effective representation of the Implementation team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
5+ Years in Financial Services particularly Securities Servicing Industry with 3+ years in a client facing project management role or commensurate experience
Working knowledge of multiple Securities Services products such as Custody, Fund Accounting, Fund Admin, Hedge Funds Servicing, Investment Analytics, Compliance, ETFs, IMOS, Private Equity and Real Estate Services, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Tri Party
Project and program management skills
Clear, articulate and concise verbal and written communication
Client-facing skills
Proven track record of influencing and working collaboratively with various internal teams, including sales, operations, technology, and product management.
Strong presentation skills
Keen eye for identifying and resolving risks
Ability to systematically remove ambiguity from projects
Relationship skills - ability to gain access to individuals within a wide range of functions in the organization; earn a reputation for integrity, intelligence and problem solving
Proficient in both Japanese and English

Highly structured and methodical in execution
Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is advantageous
