Software Engineer III - Java, Python Fullstack

• Operates as a member of a Scrum development team to deliver technology solutions in an Agile fashion including, but not limited to, sprint planning, complexity analysis, standups, and sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming etc.

• Designs, analyze, code, test, and deploy applications/components to satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects. Adhere to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management and security policies.

• Provides production support coverage. Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Python with a proven history of hands-on development and delivery, ranging from small incremental changes to larger Greenfield projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience

• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

• Hands-on software development experience in Java/Python and related technology stack ( Spring, Spring Boot etc. )

• Experience with Web Tech: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS

• Experience with automated testing including E-2-E testing processes

• Experience working with other people in a team setting

• Experience using continuous integration tools, including Jenkins

• Experience managing assignments effectively, multi-tasking, and working within tight deadlines

• Agile development experience and Experience working in a globally distributed team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Cloud engineering experience would be an advantage (AWS).
• Experience in Cassandra, Containers, Dynamo
• SRE concepts like monitoring, log tracing
