Job responsibilities
Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
Utilizes technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
Monitors project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Demonstrates enthusiasm and ambition by proactively taking ownership of highly visible, business-critical project deliveries, driving initiatives with a commitment to excellence and impactful results
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
Hands-on individual contributor, actively engaging in project deliverables and technical execution
Demonstrated ownership of complex projects end-to-end with limited supervision, ensuring accountability for outcomes
Operates in details and communicates clearly by adjusting the content of the communication according to the audience
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Skilled in synthesizing complex information and presenting actionable insights to diverse stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience driving infrastructure-related initiatives, with a strong emphasis on AWS products and services, while also supporting broader cloud technology efforts
Demonstrated experience and understanding of key project management standards and processes, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, with proficiency in applying industry best practices to ensure successful outcomes
Prior exposure to large-scale data platforms or AI and ML technologies
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project tracking and delivery
