Technical Project Manager III

Job responsibilities

• Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects

• Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals

• Utilizes technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation

• Monitors project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle

• Demonstrates enthusiasm and ambition by proactively taking ownership of highly visible, business-critical project deliveries, driving initiatives with a commitment to excellence and impactful results

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

• Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve

• Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies

• Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes

• Hands-on individual contributor, actively engaging in project deliverables and technical execution

• Demonstrated ownership of complex projects end-to-end with limited supervision, ensuring accountability for outcomes

• Operates in details and communicates clearly by adjusting the content of the communication according to the audience

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Skilled in synthesizing complex information and presenting actionable insights to diverse stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience driving infrastructure-related initiatives, with a strong emphasis on AWS products and services, while also supporting broader cloud technology efforts

• Demonstrated experience and understanding of key project management standards and processes, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, with proficiency in applying industry best practices to ensure successful outcomes

• Prior exposure to large-scale data platforms or AI and ML technologies

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project tracking and delivery
