Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planning
Provide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization
Review content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities
Contribute to the strategic development of Custody products
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Minimum of 4 years in Financial Services industry, preferably in custody & fund services, markets.
Possess understanding of Treasury v/s Agent (Off Book currency) FX's
Strong Risk and Control Awareness: Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
Excellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult situations internally and externally
Operational subject matter expertise in Reconciliation, Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and Custody
Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
Strong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
Confident communicator in all mediums with both internal and external clients
Strategic thinker, ability to review and implement process improvements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Global Custody or Local Custody background
Experience in driving projects and initiatives
Familiarity with swift messages specifically MT54 series
Good knowledge in MS Office Suite applications - MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
Flexibility working on APAC mid shift
