Overall responsibility to lead and develop a team of Bankers, where they operate in both banker and investor capacity
Supervise, coach, and train bankers/staffs to maximize their individual contribution to the team as required
Monitor ongoing and team's performance against financial and other targets - AUM, Revenue, account performance etc.
In addition to day-to-day management of the team, this role should also grow the team's book of business and will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads for new clients in the Hong Kong market, through own social and/or corporate network and contacts
Work in close partnership with other teams in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities
Work closely with other teams in meeting compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
University degree holder with 15+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity
Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families) in the Hong Kong market
Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses
Track record of successfully building and growing a business within Wealth Management, with the ability to drive change and implement disciplined management practices, and to expand AUM and Revenue within the targeted segment
Ability to influence and problem solve to address any implementation challenges
Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities
Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
Appropriate local regulatory qualifications and licenses
