    Position summary

    Job Title: Partner Marketing Specialist, APAC

    Job Description

    This role is for a Partner (or Channel) marketing professional working in the APAC Integrated Marketing Management team, reporting directly to the APAC Partner Marketing Lead.

    The role will focus on developing innovative programs for attracting the attention of buyers through Juniper partners. This person is to pull or put together marketing programs to enable Juniper Partners to help Juniper scale our business across APAC and to grow Juniper commercial markets in alignment with APAC partner sales team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To execute on global channel strategy and be an advocate for new channel tools rolled out in APAC. Assist Partner Sales Team in channel program and drive channel tools adoption relevant to APAC:
      • Communication and promote adoption of channel tools within Juniper and to partners
      • Platform administration and follow up with regional partner sales team
    • Manage and coordinate regular channel communication as digital outreach tool for our partners to gain mindshare.
      • Manage content from WW and APAC team to ensure effective communication to Juniper partners.
      • Create or customize content to fit local and regional needs.
      • Motivate readership on channel-news-on-demand newsletter.
      • Effectively communicate to the local channel sales and marketing team on the latest channel assets, tools, and news.
    • Work closely with Field marketing team and APAC Narrative team to land different campaigns for partner to leverage.
      • Coordinate with respective APAC Narrative program leads to “channelized” direct customer engagement program or any relevant digital demand gen campaigns and upload onto self-service portals for direct partner leveraged.
      • Monitor campaign adoption with partners and drive effective results.
      • Maintain a calendar overview of the channel activities in the region.
    • Drive channel promotional bundles in-alignment with partner sales team for incremental sales:
      • Coordinate promotional bundles with relevant access and approval information such as deal-desk, legal and respective BU(s).
      • Coordinate required assets for promo with respective APAC Narrative Program Leads and Global partner program teams.
      • Communicate and broadcast promotional bundles to APAC resellers
      • Tracking and reporting
    • Take up APAC-led initiatives to support the team as/when required.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3-5 years+ experience in IT channel business, with expertise preferred in the Enterprise Networking and Security space working for a vendor, carrier, SI or VAR.
    • Sales/Marketing experience strongly preferred.
    • Good understanding in channel partner’s behaviors and business operations in channel business model across APAC.
    • Excellent communication skills in both internal and external audience; other Asian language capabilities would be a big asset.
    • Self-motivated to achieve new business goals, ability & flexibility to adapt to new situation/environment.
    • Creativity to think outside the box for new ways to communicate value-propositions and Enterprise messaging.
    • Good team player, ability to communicate with the peers/partners effectively and proactively.
