    KPMG is currently seeking a Director – Ethics & Compliance to join our Risk and Control Evaluation and Remediation (RACER) Division of Ethics & Compliance (E&C) organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the execution of KPMG’s Ethics Risk Assessment and subsequent risk management activities, including risk mitigation and monitoring, control testing, and deficiency remediation
    • Operationalize Ethics & Compliance’s Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Framework; select and prioritize RCA candidates, execute RCA procedures, and provide recommendations for remediation
    • Track issue remediation in accordance with the E&C Program’s remediation framework; report the Firm’s ethics and integrity risk profile periodically to senior leadership
    • Contribute to the determination and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators; employ data analytics to determine trends and to assist the Firm in detecting or preventing misconduct and ethical failures
    • Lead and enhance execution of strategic initiatives for the E&C Program; interface regularly with E&C leadership regarding execution of tasks and responsibilities and help to drive desired outcomes in line with the strategic initiatives
    • Provide active coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing with junior staff to advance their career development; manage and review those team members’ work product

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum twelve of recent experience in risk management and internal controls, including process reviews, root cause investigations, control evaluations, and data analysis; experience within a professional services firm or similar environment preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to role model ethical leadership and set a standard for ethics and integrity in the firm
    • Client-service oriented with the capability to create effective cross-functional working relationships, including interfacing with internal and external stakeholders on legal and business matters 
    • Able to manage and prioritize multiple risk, control, and root cause assessments and projects simultaneously as well as meet deadlines with consistently high-quality deliverables and results
    • Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and oral advocacy skills; strategic thinker with the ability to apply sound judgement in sensitive and complex situations
