    KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our KPMG Strategy practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Advise Fortune 1000 and middle market companies, and private equity investors, on the people implications and planning considerations for mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs, and other similar transactions
    • Partner with client stakeholder to identify and implement HR/people operations performance improvement initiatives; including, but not limited to: organizational design & alignment, workforce strategy, HR service delivery, compensation & benefits, diversity, equity & inclusion, employee engagement, culture, change management
    • Lead the development of strategic roadmaps and detailed implementation plans towards key milestone dates from transaction Pre-Close through Post-Close  
    • Advise clients on leading practice HR/People strategies that align to their business objectives. Identify key issues and dependencies, driving them to resolution
    • Serve as the day-to-day engagement manager leading all facets of an engagement ranging from building the engagement workplan and budget, executing the plan, managing client relationships, keeping Partners and Managing Directors apprised of project status and risks, etc.
    • Develop high quality deliverables with junior team members, providing project guidance, quality review and general oversight
    • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
    • Develop, coach, and mentor junior team members
    • Lead internal team initiatives to support and enhance our practice growth and Firm brand
    • Identify business development opportunities leveraging internal and external KPMG channels

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of ten years’ experience in Human Resources/People Operations, human capital consulting, or M&A integrations and separations planning and execution
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college
    • Significant experience in interacting with executive stakeholders, and leading high-performance teams  
    • Significant experience in project management including planning, budgeting, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
    • Highly motivated, self-starter, team player, with positive attitude and strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Strong business acumen, desire to learn, and interest in partnering with cross-functional teams
    • Willingness and ability to travel
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

    Seattle / San Francisco / Los Angeles / Irvine / San Diego Salary Range: Low: $206000 - High: $343400

    Colorado Salary Range: Low: $177900 - High: $296600
