KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Records Management to join our Data Strategy and Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement and continuous improvement, creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization
  • Set goals, offer feedback, source developmental opportunities and provide long-term career guidance to counselees and others across the department
  • Integrate new team members and connect them to the resources and opportunities to help further their development and career goals; regularly engage with counselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve; Work to increase counselees’ engagement, job satisfaction and pride; be a role model for doing the right things and treating people the right way
  • Lead the development and design of the Records Management vision, strategy and implementation path; responsible for championing alignment to the applicable strategies and adherence to them, the related commitments, the budget and management of the risk; significant contributor to innovation that has impact and creates a high financial, client value and efficiency impact within department
  • Optimize performance, quality and cost of the delivery function by defining and implementing proper resourcing, offshoring scope and utilization, increasing automation and process efficiency
  • Interact regularly with delivery partners and/or department leaders; proactively initiate ideas to improve client service for a specific work product within a department; contribute to department or group objectives, strategy and priorities; set tactical plan for execution of strategic objectives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience managing change and effectively communicating to teams; advanced knowledge of the broader scope that frames the essential technical area of work with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement
  • Technical experience must include expertise in records identification, retention schedule management, enterprise content management system maintenance and standards development; experience with collaboration with Counsel and Risk Management preferred
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.; ability to foster the development of high-performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
