KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Service Delivery Lead to join our Global Information Technology Group which is part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of the solution, providing leadership and guidance to the architecture, development, and project teams, evaluate business requirements in the early stages of the program to determine what workflow, integration technologies, system architectures and configurations should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently and effectively
  • Help ensure the SaaS Platform Configuration and Development processes are performed according to the agreed and documented standard and meets the aims of the definition
  • Lead in defining the platform strategy offerings, solution architecture, design, integration and best practices, sponsoring, designing and change managing the process and its metrics
  • Audit and review the platform strategy to ensure compliance, ensure the strategy is still appropriate and change as required
  • Oversee of the Intake of Ideas and classification of new Demand, oversight of the platform teams and their processes that satisfy the Demand
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management in the monitoring and timely management of all Demand in the pipeline, collaborate with the Service Portfolio Management function to ensure Demand aligns to Services under management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years or more experience in skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Lead or Project Management, the skills to include: Project Management, Agile/SCRUM, SAFE, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering and Systems Analysis and Design
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Advanced Project Management skills including Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Team Management
  • International experience with the ability to work in a diverse work environment across cultures and time-zones; available to travel (internationally) at short notice and host/attend international calls outside of standard working hours
  • Extensive and consistent experience of delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle, proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success, demonstrated experience developing team members and being a role model, ability to work across business and technical teams, excellent negotiation skills, ability to anticipate and build contingency plans
  • Expert problem solving skills, ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism, knowledge of application development and system architecture, capable of leading internal ITS teams, contractors and onshore / offshore partner resources, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT professionals, effective leadership, interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, pro-active in pre-empting issues and problems, ability to engage and interact with technical and non-technical staff
