    KPMG is currently seeking a AVD Virtual Platforms Engineer to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure; collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete VDI solutions
    • Work closely with internal Virtualization Operations and Engineering teams to gather requirements and build/deploy appropriate tools
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining the scripting required supporting automation of cloud configuration and administration
    • Support security audits, accreditation and certification processes for cloud-based system architectures; set quality standards for tools, techniques and methodologies, advising on their application and ensuring compliance
    • Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of current industry directions and trends; drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule and with the highest quality
    • Provide advice, guidance and direction to carry out plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met; provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis; build configuration management, service provisioning, inventory management, resource management, process automation, visibility and self-service tools; provide training and guidance to other members of the Virtualization team

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum five years of hands-on experience with implementation, management and support of Azure Virtual Desktop environment and FSLogix is required; Four years of relevant Microsoft Azure Administrator experience; Three years of recent enterprise experience supporting Citrix Apps & Desktops
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
    • Must have a hands-on experience in system administration of Windows server-side infrastructure, Intune, manage virtual networks and machines
    • Strong knowledge of various cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS)
    • Knowledge of IP Networking, Switching and Routing, VPN, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications; Demonstrated experience with a combination of automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell & Packer
    • US Citizenship is required
