KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Corporate Communications (external communications) to join our Corporate Communications organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement multi-channel communications programs that inform and engage external stakeholders and strengthen the external media position and visibility of our services and spokespeople
  • Effectively engage national and regional media on priority issues related to the Deal Advisory and Strategy market, including but not limited to Deal market trends, M&A, PE, Industry trends, ESG, and technology, that showcase our leadership and services
  • Manage related media relations, thought leadership, social and digital media to support the business objectives for Deal Advisory and Strategy
  • Execute on tasks, such as key messaging, story generation, interview management, awareness of external media environment related to key business issues
  • Apply rigorous attention to research and metrics, incorporating insights and trends into communications strategies
  • Serve as trusted advisor to business leadership group and work closely with operations and communications teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum four years of experience working in Communications and preferably a related profession; agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Communications, Public Affairs, Business, or related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills, as well as experience in program development; deep understanding of social and digital communication tactics
  • Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with Social Media Platforms, Excel, communications measurement tools and external communications channels including Newswire services, media and databases
  • Prior experience supporting a business unit or group on media relations with the ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, analytical thinker, and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
