KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Advisory Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide life sciences organizations with integrated services across the full life-cycle of risk and regulatory change, including advising on compliance with and monitoring of new regulations, working with regulators to understand future changes and advising on risk mitigation and remediation; key areas include: compliance audits / gap assessments / maturity assessments, third-party / vendor compliance audits, compliance monitoring program design and implementation, compliance & contract operational effectiveness, sell-side and buy-side diligence assistance, foreign corrupt practice act proactive assessments, clinical research organization assessments, compliance policy standardization / drafting, patient support / patient assistance program assessments and investigations involving suspicions of fraud and misconduct by employees, management or third parties
  • Develop, sell and deliver life sciences regulatory and compliance service offerings; develop and execute structured detailed work plans in areas such as compliance assessments, investigations and operational improvements
  • Create a collaborative team environment, foster a common understanding of team objectives and clearly articulate expectations as well as coach, mentor and train staff by imparting knowledge, skills and experience in attracting and retaining staff
  • Ensure work product and related deliverables are performed in accordance with established standards and engagement requirements to meet client and firm expectation
  • Lead and participate in people development and business development efforts; proactively identify opportunities to enhance professional practices and processes; assist with business development initiatives, including the development of proposals
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and demonstrate the ability to identify additional opportunities with existing clients; identify and communicate technical matters while serving as a liaison to both clients and engagement leadership; participate and/or lead meetings with both clients and the engagement team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent applicable work experience in the life sciences industry or providing life sciences regulatory and compliance professional services to the industry
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking and research skills, ability to navigate various computer applications including MS Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and aptitude to quickly learn KPMG developed tools and applications used by our clients, data analytics skills (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python) are highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, client presence, meeting facilitation, presentation skills, writing skills, with ability to clearly articulate observations in written form
  • High proficiency in foreign languages is highly preferred (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic etc.) (speaking/reading/writing)
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives and possess relevant skills in project management with hands-on experience; demonstrate leadership abilities, supporting the oversight of projects and/or the efforts of others
  • Ability to travel, including potential international travel; travel may be up to 60-80%
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
