KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Market Intelligence to join our Growth and Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support KPMG’s business strategy, execution and planning through the design, development, and maintenance of actionable competitive intelligence via primary interviews while supporting KPMG’s Market Intelligence (MI) Group that provides data driven; actionable insights to inform leadership decisions, investments and strategy; MI insights help drive growth at the firm, function, sector and account levels by systematically mining a global network of internal and external sources (such as data sets, analyst firms, technology platforms and SMEs) to separate weak signals from noise, connect dots and identify patterns, threats and opportunities for KPMG; collectively provide insight which helps to prioritize operational and strategic decisions with the aim to “future-proof” KPMG’s position as a market leader
  • Drive the Market Intelligence team reports to the US Chief Strategy Officer and Global Strategic Relations & Investments leadership; coordinate market forecast efforts for KPMG’s service lines with third party analyst firms
  • Lead operations for several key workstreams – including Competitive Intelligence, Secondary Research and Market Forecasting – supporting the leads for each workstream with activities such as project pipeline management, quarterly reporting to leadership, intelligence databasing and coordination of SMEs across the firm
  • Coordinate market forecast efforts for KPMG’s service lines with third party analyst firms; manage the team’s pipeline of research deliverables in support of firm and service line strategy/development
  • Maintain the project request queue and effective use of workflow management tools; track progress against department KPIs and protocols that will ensure quality and measurable results, including but not limited to the use of internal client feedback
  • Update and maintain the team’s web portal content and searchable strategic research library/repository

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of current and/or recent Management Consulting, Market Research, Operations or Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Good understanding of database workflow to include intake, fulfillment and dashboard reporting functionalities
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights for regular reporting
  • Optional desired skill sets: primary research/human intelligence; including familiarity with survey tools and methodologies
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities, strong project management, research, communication and presentation skills; willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
