KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Personal Independence - Technology Center of Expertise to join our Risk Management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply an advanced understanding of emerging technologies and platform implementations to support the development and maintenance of system configurations and process design documentation, as well as operating procedures and application integration documentation; Help to ensure production implementation and maintenance activities are performed as required
  • Supervise small projects, manage deadlines and expectations, as well as oversee the work product of junior staff and others, including provision of feedback to such individuals; May also serve as a formal performance manager of record to one or two junior employees; Perform project management activities on larger projects with the supervision of a director
  • Regularly interface and collaborate with PI organization leadership, third party vendors and various technical teams in the firm, to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Participate in design, testing, implementation and support of all enhancements to the systems services and technologies used by the Personal Independence team
  • Consistently communicate with PI organization leadership, development groups, business liaison teams, operations staff, security group, data center staff and server administration groups on all activities related to application integration and system enhancements
  • Maintain and assess operational requirements, service issues and contribute suggestions for improvement opportunities, such as rule-based automation, enhanced reporting, upgraded user experience; Support execution of tactical plans and strategic objectives of the PI Organization through development and utilization of technology solutions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of related work experience in IT operations, technology implementations, project management, and/or technology-related consulting
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in computer science/engineering or any other related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience implementing emerging technologies across an organization, from problem identification to solution execution and change management; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Project management experience; PMP certification preferred; Knowledge of RPA software preferred (such as Automation Anywhere); Capacity to organize and manage large quantities of data; Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, R, or similar applications preferred
  • Must be able to prioritize, delegate, and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; Ability to work on multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
