    KPMG is currently seeking a Manager,Risk Management Government  to join our Risk Management organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Apply comprehensive or specialist-level knowledge of professional services in reviewing and consulting through a Risk Management lens, which includes client and engagement acceptance evaluations, contractual escalations and matters, and evaluation of new services and products
    • Collaborate with engagement and pursuit teams to evaluate an engagement opportunity’s viability, maximize pursuit strategy by engaging and directing opportunities to the most appropriate service networks and managing the firm’s
    • Interface and partner regularly with engagement partners, internal legal and compliance groups to gain consensus; provide guidance, training and resolve questions
    • Handle multiple key projects, programs and initiatives that require advanced technical knowledge and research skills; make independent decisions related to required tasks and use judgment to regularly make decisions on high risk and complex matters
    • Participate in the development of Risk Management training and guidance; identify and implement process improvement opportunities and significantly contribute to innovation through implementation of enhancements, process efficiencies and/or enhanced quality; perform Risk Management support of internal quality reviews
    • Contribute to planning for short term needs like projects and processes

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum seven years of recent related work experience in professional services, preferably experience in serving Federal or State & Local government clients, IT integration and implementation including Workday, Oracle, Service Now, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, ERM, Management Consulting, Strategy and Contract Compliance  
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; also Risk Management credentials such as Certified Risk Manager (RIMS) or ISO 31000, preferred
    • Strong knowledge of technology domain preferred such as technology implementation, intelligent automation and cloud
    • Exceptional communication skills and experience collaboratively working with executives to identify and resolve issues, formulate strategies and prepare action plans
    • Able to manage multiple concurrent programs, applying expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the Risk organization and the firm; outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them
