    KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join Technology Assurance in our Audit practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for clients, including Financial Statement Audits, SOC Audits, real time readiness assessments and other attestations and/or platform reviews within multiple industries.
    • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
    • Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and clients
    • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients
    • Supervise and provide performance management for IT audit staff working on assigned engagements

    Additional Responsibilities for Director:

    • Write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, and document procedures performed, and conclusions reached related to projects
    • Support proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals
    • Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management while contributing to industry and regulatory publications, writing professional and thought leadership articles, and speaking at related conferences and seminars
    • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients
    • Supervise and provide performance management for IT audit staff working on assigned engagements

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum five years of professional experience preferably in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, Modern ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.), or risk assessment with a minimum of three years of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing or SOC Audit experience leading engagement teams.
    • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
    • CPA, CISA or relevant certification preferred (though not required for this position)
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, as well as the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
    • Ability to travel as necessary
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

    Additional Qualifications for Director:

    • Minimum eight years of professional experience preferably in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, Modern ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.), or risk assessment with a minimum of five years of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing or SOC Audit experience leading engagement teams.
    • Demonstrated strong business development experience in consulting services industry
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
    • Supervisory experience within a professional services role is preferred
    • Ability to travel as necessary

    Irvine / San Diego / Los Angeles / Seattle Salary Range: Low: $97900 - High: $151800    

    San Jose / San Francisco Salary Range: Low: $102400 - High: $158700         

    Sacramento Salary Range: Low: $93500 - High: $144900
