KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director, Human Resources to join our Talent Development organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a best-in-class talent development team, that is high-performing and garners credibility and respect throughout KPMG for their quality partnership and results, while fostering a positive and values-driven team culture that will motivate and inspire the team and create a shared vision for the team and larger Workforce Shaping organization
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the impact and success of talent development initiatives and adjust strategy based on insights
  • Enhance and develop a holistic talent review and succession planning strategy, in partnership with Talent & Culture and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams, as well as create thought leadership in organization design, people manager effectiveness and team effectiveness
  • Build and execute a strategy for partner and executive development including executive coaching, leadership assessments and partner development programs
  • Advance and direct an effective performance development process that aligns with firm values, core competencies for development and business drivers
  • Identify and provide performance measures to gauge program effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Minimum fifteen years professional experience in applied organizational development and change management including leadership in large, matrixed, global organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; an advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Savvy, strategic thinker with a seasoned business acumen who excels within a matrixed, fast-paced, results-oriented, highly collaborative and multi-cultural environment while managing and coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously that often represent competing priorities
  • Results driven team player with exceptional presentation, leadership, interpersonal, project management, people management and relationship building skills to drive projects to closure, manage budgets and present to senior leaders
  • Aptitude to influence peers, colleagues and executives to promote ideas
  • Ability to think and act strategically and give direction, guide strong processes to enable business growth and experience with influencing and managing change at all levels of the organization and team environment
