    Position summary

    vals, venue site search, contract negotiation, and end-to-end logistics

    • Support meeting registration process by creating event registration websites, manage hotel rooming lists, ground transportation and arrangements with vendors, sending meeting communications, and gathering post-meeting information
    • Collaborate with the lead planner to identify, contract, and manage additional vendors such as DMC, ground transportation providers, evening event venues, local printers, and more
    • Travel to meeting site and work independently or with lead planner on end-to-end execution of the meeting and oversight of vendors during execution of meeting
    • Support the creation, management, and reconciliation of meeting budget, pay deposits, and all invoices as required

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum three years of recent experience in events and meeting planning, preferably within a professional services firm, and international meeting planning experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Cvent
    • Ability to travel up to thirty percent annually
