    Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Provide Linux(Red Hat, SUSE, CentOS) products support

    • Provide daily OS and filesystem management, account management to end users

    • New setup, deployment, migration and administration for OS according to designed solution which include installing, troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant tasks

    • Deploy standard tools for system security, backup, monitoring, etc.

    • Perform System security hardening and patch installation

    • Provide 7x24 on-call support for high severity incidents

    • Provision a new VM from an existing hardened image, deprovision and terminate existing VMs

    • Provision and harden VM, create an hardened image for future provisioning

    • Change and update VM sizing, autoscaling and security configurations

    • Create, add, update and delete users and groups on the VMs

    • Patch the existing images based on Customer service request

    • Patch the existing VMs based on the Supplier recommended guidelines

    • Run and report periodic health checks on the running VMs

    • Configure native backup and setup backup policies (frequency and retention) for the VMs

    • Monitor the backup for failures, and retry

    • Restore from backups as requested

    • Troubleshoot VM level issues

    • Coordinate with cloud provider for any VM level issues at the cloud provider level

    • Troubleshoot and resolve OS related issues

    • Coordinate with application teams for any application issues

    • Configure the KPIs for VM and OS metrics

    • Configure additional KPIs mutually agreed upon with Customer

    • Create, Update and Enhance native deployment automation scripts for provisioning and de provisioning

    • Create, update and manage the startup and shut down scripts for periodic startup and shutdowns

    • Create and delete the native storage services (Storage Accounts)

    • Apply user level access policies to the storage services

    • Update the security and access permissions for the storage services

    • Update the encryption, versioning and geo replication configuration for the storage services

    • Update the frequency, retention period and storage lifecycle policies for the storage services

    • Coordinate with cloud provider/Customer for storage service level issues (where applicable)

    • Configure the KPIs for the various storage services (where applicable)

    • Configure additional KPIs mutually agreed upon with Customer (where applicable)

    Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.

    • At least 8 years' experience in IT industry and 6 years of relevant experience in Linux support

    • English: Fluent in communication.

    • Have deep knowledge and rich hands on experience in implementation and maintenance for Linux product: RedHat,Suse Linux,CentOS

    • Preferably have comprehensive knowledge of Linux virtualization(KVM) solution and methodology.

    • Sound knowledge in Azure or other Cloud related technologies.

    • Certificates/Credentials of platform foundation.

    • Good communication and team collaboration.

    • Sound knowledge of system security and user management.

    • Good working attitude and communication skill.

    • Ability to work under pressure.

    • Target oriented and self-driven.

    Azure Certification:-

    • Microsoft Azure Administrator

    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert

    Problem Solving:
    Recognize complex problems related to functional objectives. Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes. Creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
    Candidate have to work in customer work hours- Asia Pacific (weekends and holidays as oncall staff).
