We have been awarded the Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, formerly referred to as NGEN, and we are seeking talented IT Professionals to join the Leidos team.
This is an eight-year, $7.7 billion contract that is responsible for maintaining and modernizing the main global network of the Navy and Marine Corps. If you join our team, you will be part of the largest IT services program in Naval history.
As a member of the Leidos team, you will assist in the delivery of the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
What will you do as an Active Directory Exchange Specialist? The Active Directory Exchange Specialist, located in New Orleans, LA, will perform root cause analysis of critical outages and incidents, engineer's permanent solutions, and coordinates implementation; executes life-cycle events for Active Directory network group objects to include: creating new group objects, modifying group object attributes, modifying group object type, and deactivating and deleting group objects.
Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provides technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to client and technical specialists on critical Exchange & Windows software improvements, updates, and vulnerability issues.
Collaborates in researching, planning, designing, and assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation of Windows infrastructure.
Owns, creates and maintains system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Establishes, enforces, and monitors security policies and procedures to ensure appropriate usage of information systems.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma and ten (10) years of information technology (IT) relevant experience including six (6) years using Active Directory and/or Exchange experience that includes designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise level Active Directory solutions
U.S. citizen with a DoD Secret security clearance
Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP Protocols, and Group Policies
MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification in Productivity or Messaging
Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II (IAT II)
Experience managing compliance with license agreements
Experience controlling and monitoring user access to the system
Experience planning, executing, and maintaining backup and recovery of the system

Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00
