Duties Include:
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software source code.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters.
Use Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git.
Promote creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
Develop around potential roadblocks. Plan and estimate development tasks.
Develop maintainable code that matches specification.
Develop automated tests leveraging a continuous integration process.
Necessary Background, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor 's degree and less than two years of background in a relevant field. Additional years of background may be considered in lieu of education.
Background with Java, C/C++, and object-oriented programming.
Background with RESTful services and APIs.
Solid comprehension of software development process fundamentals.
Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Preferred Background, Skills, and Education:
Knowledge of developing applications using Confluent and Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.
Knowledge of a version control system (e.g., Git).
Familiarity developing and delivering modern software, including microservices, containers, and serverless architectures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint).

Pay Range $53,300.00 - $82,000.00 - $110,700.00
