Leidos is seeking an Audio Video Engineer responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining audio and video systems for a variety of settings, including conference rooms, classrooms, and live events to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. This includes configuring and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, as well as providing technical support to users. The Audio Video Engineer will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry standards and advancements, and for developing and implementing best practices for audio and video systems.
This role will support the effort to discover, analyze and design IT migration plans for over twenty large-scale DoD agencies. Leidos needs the best talent in the industry to accommodate the size, scope, and complexity of this effort. A successful candidate will be well-rounded, producing quality work with special attention to the right details.
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support from top technical and management talent to migrate common IT services for over twenty DoD agencies under a common platform. You will play a key role in performing the discovery, design, and migration tasks in support of building a world-class Single Service Provider for the Department of Defense.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Design, install, and maintain audio and video systems for a variety of settings
•Configure and troubleshoot audio and video equipment, including microphones, speakers, and displays
•Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements, and develop and implement best practices for audio and video systems
•Collaborate with clients and other team members to determine audio and video system requirements and solutions
•Manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and documentation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•MUST have strong writing skills and expect to perform extensive writing
•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
•Strong problem-solving and communication skills
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Excellent communication and training skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Consulting firm experience is highly desirable
•Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies
•ITIL certification

Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00
