The Capture Excellence SME helps ensure the Leidos Win Plan process encompasses best and innovative practices as well as lessons learned.
Capture Excellence SMEs actively guide the Win Plan process, using facilitation and analytical skills to ensure workshops produce actionable strategies, compelling win themes, and innovative solutions. They critically assess whether capture milestones are delivering the expected insights and help teams pivot when necessary.

Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree with a combination of 15+ years of experience
8+ years of direct hands-on capture work experience of sizes ranging from $25M to $200M
Deep expertise in leveraging milestone-driven processes such as Black Hat reviews, Price-to-Win analysis, and competitive positioning for complex captures.
Experience implementing capture health checks and providing corrective guidance to optimize capture outcomes. Expert knowledge of the business development lifecycle
Strong experience as either a capture manager or proposal manager
Experience with facilitating workshops or reviews
Competent with process improvement techniques and principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sound decision-making and prioritization skills
Superior planning, scheduling and coordinating skills
An upbeat, positive, outgoing and personable demeanor with the ability to interact and relate well with Health Solutions BD, Line, SA and capture managers
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis
A desire to learn and work within a team environment
Some local travel outside of the Reston VA area will be required to support reviews
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
Must be a US citizen

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
