Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Technician with experience with Host Based Security Systems (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), SailPoint, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, and Certificate Management to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. This role will support the discovery analysis and design activities required to migrate common IT services from over twenty large-scale DoD agencies into DoDNet. Post migration, this role will provide assistance in the design, implementation and maintenance of secure systems and networks to protect agencies sensitive data and assets from cyber threats. A successful candidate will be technically well-rounded, producing quality work with special attention to the right details.
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support from top technical and management talent to migrate common IT services for over twenty DoD agencies under a common platform. You will play a key role in performing the discovery, design, and migration tasks in support of building a world-class Single Service Provider for the Department of Defense.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Support initial discovery efforts, defining data collection requirements based on inputs needed to develop a successful migration plan
•Under Senior Engineer guidance utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to define the future state migration plan, and the pre-migration activities necessary to close gaps
•Understand backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration of over 20 agencies into a single architecture
•Implement solutions, integrate, configure, test and deploy cyber security capabilities such as security scans, host-based security, certificate services, and other cyber security-related functions
•Evaluate information assurance/security standards and procedures.
•Deploy migration plans for services that address system security vulnerabilities
•Deploy migration plans that accelerate execution and minimize impact to the user community
•Supports migration plans for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) services
•Develop migration designs using existing and emerging technologies to provide secure enterprise solutions
•Assist in conducting security assessments and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
•Implementing and maintaining security controls, monitoring network activity, and assisting in identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
•Proficiency with enterprise-class cyber security solutions
•DoD IAT Level II (Security+ ) certification or equivalent is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Consulting firm experience is highly desirable
•Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cyber, and data center facilities

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00
