    Position summary

    • Develop training scenarios and documentation to build expertise among team.

    • Document and enforce processes and procedures.

    • Evaluate system network requirements and make appropriate technical recommendations to local leadership/engineers.

    • Work directly with internal and external customers, UC stakeholders, and engineering groups to ensure maximum network availability to minimize or eliminate mission and operational impact.

    • Proactively monitor network alarms across platform specific network management tools.

    • Utilize incident management applications to document all aspects of reported outages/degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions during the lifecycle of a service impacting network incident.

    • Assess, identify, and recommend resolutions to various network incidents and/or deficiencies leveraging knowledge in one or more of following: routers, firewalls, switches, crypto devices, Active Directory, SolarWinds, Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN).

    • Other job requirements as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience with MS Office suite, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, TEAMs.

    • Experience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, call routing, session-initiated protocol (SIP), media call flow, packet capture analysis, Juniper IP technologies, Session Boarder Controllers (SBC), Juniper MX5 routers, Juniper SRX firewalls, Juniper EX switches.

    • Expertise in IP technologies, i.e. Networking architectures, methodologies, and Voice Services.

    • Advanced understanding of IP principles.

    • Proficiency with SNMP, DNS, and NTP protocols.

    • General knowledge of TLS and PKI.

    • Proficiency with Juniper networking devices.

    • Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. (Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.)

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
