    Job Description:

    Leidos is looking for an eDiscovery Litigation Technology Electronic Processing Center Team Supervisor to support our efforts at the Electronic Processing Center of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice at 450 5th Street NW, Washington DC.  This position is on-site, but some telework is allowed. Are you looking for the opportunity to take your back-end lit tech skills to the next level?  This position entails doing the work of a Data Specialist II – processing and loading data - and serving in a supervisory role for our Leidos team. 

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a senior member for a team of Data Specialist IIs, Data Specialist Is and Document Management Analyst Is – a team of 8 employees, serve in the function of a Data Specialist II (processing and loading data) and also provide the leadership for the team performing administrative tasks accordingly.

    • Use advanced knowledge of eDiscovery processes, industry best practices, and data intake, processing and loading technologies, to provide exceptional service to customer clients and case teams.

    • Serve as a highly experienced Data Specialist II processing data utilizing LAW, iPRO eCapture and Relativity and including electronic document processing from ingestion of native files through the exporting of load files.

    • Understand file types and troubleshoot complex data for processing and QCing processed data.

    • Edit DAT files for loading data to Relativity.

    • QC data loads and exports.

    • Work closely with ATR Case Managers on task requirements.

    • Serve as the technical lead for electronic files processing, including managing the development of specialized scripts and documentation of processing procedures.

    • Edit and prepare large load files for updating to Relativity.

    • Prepare outgoing discovery production deliverables per ATR Case Manager requests.

    • Assist with the hiring and training of new EPC-specific contract staff.

    • Troubleshoot loading and software utility issues as required.

    • Log, track, and assign tasks received in ATR’s Case Media and Tracking System database (CMTS).

    • Perform quality control checks on the data loaded by new and junior EFS staff.

    • Provide weekly and monthly reports as well as collect and compile weekly and monthly reports of the team.

    • Assess data productions from parties to determine if compliance with ATR production specifications has been met.
       

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects, including at least one year of supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.

    • Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support and eDiscovery activities.

    • Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow. 

    • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.

    • In-depth experience with back-end litigation support processing data including use of LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform and MS Office suite.

    • At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis

    • Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a federal government background check.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred.

    • Virus Scanning Softwares (Bitdefender, Symantec, Microsoft Essentials)

    • BrainSpace

    • Encase

    • FTK

    • Current or active clearance

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
