Description
The Defense Group of Leidos currently has an opening for an Electronic Warfare (EW) Expert. This candidate will work in the Air Force Cryptologic Office’s Cyberspace Multi-Domain Innovation Division (AFCO-CM) at Lackland
AFB, TX and is part of a larger program supporting the Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
Candidate will support the AFCO-CM with advanced concept development, technology identification & integration, and assessment as a Subject Matter Expert in EW and Radio Frequency (RF) applications. They will support development and execution of operationally-focused lab, ground, and airborne experiments and demonstrations, capability gap analysis, test design and preparation, elements of Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), and system characterization through analysis
of test, demonstration, and experimentation data. They will support Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) working integrated multi-domain capabilities, technical interchange meeting (TIM) engagements, and resource management. They will assist
AFCO/CM in conducting studies, assessments, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) in support of acquisition, force modernization, and Research & Development (R&D). They will provide organized, analytical assessments/evaluations
related to threat and Intelligence Mission Data requirements required as part of AF, Joint, and DOD Joint Capability Integration an Development System (JCIDS) processes. They will provide operational context to support systems design and TTP
development and assist the government in developing and providing inputs to Scientific & Technical (S&T) initiatives. They will assist in establishing R&D requirements, as well as develop schedules, T&E plans, and exercise/experimentation
requirements. They will participate with, advise, and assist AFCO/CM in various aspects of capability-based development, PPBE support, systems engineering, integration management, configuration management, training, exercise support, and T&E.
They will develop, review, and provide integration strategies in conjunction with operational units and acquisition agents to mitigate risks posed to multi-domain system components and assigned missions. They will develop and review empirical and
qualitative assessments regarding technology, technological standards, and processes/procedures to current, programmed, and potential multi-domain systems, components, TTPs, and organizational structures. They will be expected to participate in Joint C4ISR experimentation, T&E, operational exercises, innovation events, and system development and integration activities.
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI Security Clearance and Eligible for Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances
Possess Master’s Degree in area of expertise or technical bachelor’s degree with a master’s equivalent of practical expertise with operational and/or test experience.
15 years’ of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 20 years’ of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree.
Previous qualification as an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) to include regular employment of Electromagnetic Attack (hard requirement)
Ten (10) years experience in airborne EW, RF, General Systems Engineering and/or technical program management focused on airborne applications and systems
Five (5) years experience working multi-domain, EW or RF engineering-related issues, leading and contributing to the analysis, specifications, design, development, implementation, and integration of requirements into AF or DoD systems
