    The Mission:

    The Energy Efficiency Specialist will be part of a team that helps our federal customer achieve their goal of reducing energy consumption and costs in buildings. As an energy efficiency specialist, you will be responsible for efforts to gather, track, and analyze property level energy and water consumption and costs and benchmark energy and water performance.

    The Energy Efficiency Specialist will be responsible for facilitating and encouraging engagement in collecting and evaluating energy and water usage data and promoting conservation measures and investments to improve energy and water efficiency. You will also assist in developing detailed analysis of energy and water consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions at the property and portfolio level.

    The Energy Efficiency Specialist will:

    • Conduct outreach to property owners and agents to enroll them in the benchmarking process
    • Collect and input energy and water data into ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
    • Conduct follow up engagement with property owners to assist with data collection and benchmarking
    • Assist with development of property level energy and water usage analysis
    • Identify potential energy conservation and efficiency measures specific to properties and regions

    What Sets You Apart:

    • Bachelor’s degree with up to 2 years relevant experience
    • Familiarity with energy and water usage in buildings
    • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customer, property owners, and stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within cross functional teams

    You Might Also Have:

    • Experience using the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager benchmarking portal
    • Experience with energy efficiency measures for residential and commercial buildings
    • Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency technologies
    • Self-starter and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $46,https://800.00 - $84,https://600.00
