Description
The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a Environmental Occupational Safety & Health (EOSH) Professional, to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. The position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Services Group (AJW-23) for Air Traffic Organization (ATO) by providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in execution of the Construction Safety and Welding, Cutting, Brazing Safety programs. The EOSH Professional will assist the FAA in executing the Workplace Inspection Program (WIP) & Hazard Abatement Program (HAP) Program. The position will be located in in the Washington DC commuting area and is remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Provide technical expertise support to address EOSH workplace inspection & hazard abatement compliance.
Provide programmatic and technical Workplace Inspection Tool (WIT) support (reset passwords, provide access, update establishment list).
Generate workplace inspection and hazard abatement data tracking reports monthly, quarterly and annually per customer schedule.
Update Knowledge Sharing Networks (KSN) related to Workplace Inspection & Hazard Abatement.
Provide SME support to conduct Headquarters workplace inspections in the Washington DC metro area.
Support meetings and prepare meeting minutes or notes, and action items.
Provide SME support to prepare program-related briefings.
Assist with the development and coordination of FAA WIT training and materials.
Provide programmatic and technical support for unanticipated issues and events during the task order period.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant exempt experience. Or, a Master's Degree with 1 - 2 years of relevant exempt experience.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of public trust. Public Trust requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications**:**
Prior experience with OSH workplace inspection and development of abatement plans.
Prior experience supporting the FAA or other Federal Agency is highly desired.
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00
