evelopment of repair and renovation of electrical projects
Provide technical assistance and support in electrical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and hands-on repair
Install and maintain low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring
Install feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, ground wiring for red and black installations
Ensure material used and workmanship meet requirements of applicable technical and safety standards
Provide detailed reports on equipment failure, maintenance requirements and lifecycle replacements
Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections verbally or via computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning and/or inoperable equipment
Use US Army quality assurance procedures to ensure material used and workmanship meet requirements of applicable DOD specifications, criteria, procedures, technical and safety standards.
Provide electrical design input to engineering installation plans and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
Provide 24-hour/7-day quick reaction technical support to mission critical equipment
Perform power quality measurements on commercial and technical facility power and coordinate corrective actions for any deficiencies
Support US Army systems on-site whenever and wherever deployed.
Available to deploy worldwide and/or into various theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US Forces contingency missions; to include potentially hazardous work environments
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university and at least three years of relevant experience as licensed Electrician.
AA/AS Degree from an accredited college or university with at least five years of relevant experience as licensed Electrician or; Advanced Electrician training with license and at least seven years of relevant experience can offset the degree requirement.
Knowledge of Safe Work practices related to energized work, performing duties at high heights and/or confined spaces per OSHA regulations.
Subject matter expertise in provisions and applications of National Electric Code.
Ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
Fluent in English, to include the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
Ability to liaise with Directorate of Public Works and BASOPS to coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure standardized compliance.
Must be a US Citizen.
Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
