Job Requisition:
Information Systems Security Engineer
Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer in support one of our programs in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will support a wide variety of standalone and connected networks. IT/IA duties will include:
•Systems Development with InfoSec focus.
•Change/Modify System Services such as AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO implementations to improve security posture.
•Conduct regular audits of system activity and perform regular vulnerability scans.
•Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
•Create and update site administration/systems security documentation for long-term sustainment.
•Monitor, organize, and work collaboratively with Network Operations, Cyber Security, and other Teams to optimize and collaborate solutions.
•Conduct site surveys of data centers to observe conditions and the existing environment (ie., cabling, power, equipment racks, etc) and make recommendations based on project requirements.
•Interact with IT staff for troubleshooting and system configuration requirements
•Provide implementation details and test plans for upgrades or new installations.
•Provide system and application diagnoses to remediate issues while engaging other teams as needed.
Clearance Required:
•Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and willing to upgrade to TS/SCI with polygraph.
Qualifications/Experience:
•Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation, and problem management skills.
• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in associated field; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
•DoD 8570 IAT level 2 certification
•Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, GPO management and Domain Controller Functional services.
•Knowledge of security policies and general vulnerabilities management.
•Linux experience is helpful but not required.
•Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts.
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
