Intelligence Data Science & Analytics SME

Description

Leidos seeks an Intelligence Data Science & Analytics SME at Offutt AFB, NE with experience in statistical analysis, data ingestion and processing, and deep experience with methods/analytics development, to support our customer’s data analytics program. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to support the development of complex analytics by building automated solutions, managing code repositories, and documenting code and practices, to make them consumable to the greater enterprise. Responsibilities also include the management of cloud resources, including user, OS, software dependency, and security administration.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the experimentation team to develop and automate analytics and analytic methods programmatically in Python, R, or similar.

• Assist with identifying and ETLing relevant datasets

• Build and train multilevel regression models

• Build and deploy visualizations to present analytic results

• Effectively use GitHub to store and document analytic processes and the accompanying code

• Contribute to customer analytic products as designated

• Manage hardware, network, security, and software resources necessary to conduct analytical work

• Compile, deploy, and configure web applications built in several languages (NodeJS, PHP, etc.) and their relevant dependencies (SQL, NoSQL databases, NGINX, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or similar relevant field and 11 years’ experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 16 years’ experience. Certifications and/or additional qualifications or experience will be considered.

• Demonstrated experience with at least one programming language such as Python or R

• Demonstrated experience with general data science packages such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy

• Demonstrated experience with relational database technologies and SQL, and querying through APIs for retrieving data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience contributing to GitHub repositories and using Git for version control

• Strong coordination and collaboration skills

• IAT II level certification (Sec+, CCNA Security, CND, etc.)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
