    Leidos is hiring a Knowledge Management Lead to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) Information Technology Services (ITS) program at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD. The successful candidate will assist the Government staff by developing & improving a broad range of processes, workflows, and Microsoft-centric training material to support senior Air Force leaders.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead team in operating, maintaining, and sustaining the AFNCR's knowledge base. 

    • Use the AFNCR Knowledge Base Concept of Operations, to include data tagging rules (taxonomy / ontology), to ensure customer knowledge is properly cataloged and easily accessible.

    • Assist and train customer on capabilities and skills necessary to manage SharePoint sites efficiently and effectively.

    • Develop and manage training program for office automation and collaboration tools, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced techniques for:

    • Microsoft (MS) office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, OneNote, and Forms).

    • MS collaboration applications (e.g., Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate).

    • Assist senior leaders in developing business analytics reports, using both Remedy Smart Reports and MS Power BI.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Possess a current, DoD SECRET clearance. 

    • A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline with 12+ years of relavant experience; or a master's degree with10+ years of relavant experience, additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, SharePoint and Remedy. 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience as a Knowledge Management Officer in an Air Force or other military organization.

    • Current, ITIL or Continuous Process Improvement (e.g., Six Sigma) certification.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
