Description
Leidos is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
All work is onsite; remote is not an option.
The successful candidate will partner with Leidos peers, government customers and the technical team of engineers/scientists to solve challenging technical questions about highly complex systems.
Primary Responsibilities
*Participate in individual projects and small teams of government and contractor personnel
*Design logical models of space and ground systems for us in a AF/DoD environment
*Test and evaluate own models and others to ensure functionality before submitting to the customer
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE or a related field with 4+ years of applicable experience or an MS and 2+ yrs of related experience.
Experience in C++, modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques
*Great people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers and scientists
*Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a mixed government-contractor environment
Preferred Qualifications
*MS in CS, CE, EE or a related field
*Experience working at NASIC with Intelligence Community models, all-source analysis, radars, aircraft, missiles, space vehicles, MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Coder.
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00
