    The Civil Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Production Control Specialist to work in our Ladson, SC facility. As a member of the Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) team, you will be joining a diverse and dedicated group who are excited about producing industry leading screening technology.  Our new Ladson, SC facility will produce a comprehensive suite of fully automated and integrated products for aviation, shipping ports, border crossings, and critical infrastructure customers.  These systems provide threat detection by screening baggage, cargo, and people at checkpoints around the world. 

    The Production Control Specialist plays a vital role within the manufacturing process and will be responsible for a variety of task.  This position will report to the Production Control Manager but work closely with other functional teams to establish priority and ensure the smooth execution of production activities.  In conjunction with the different production managers, this role will coordinate and monitor MO status and ensure timely closure upon completion.  This role will also assist with investigating aging MO report, monitor bulk material levels, submit request for floor supplies, and communicate production shortages as required. To be successful in this role, this person must have a good understanding of the supply chain and manufacturing process along with being detail oriented, highly organized, and an excellent communicator.    

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Control and maintenance of manufacturing orders (MO’s) throughout the production process
    • Track and prioritize material shortages.
    • Update and track the Manufacturing Order Aging Reports
    • Control and order of Bulk items
    • Organize and support the flow of material through the production areas.
    • Manage the tracking of system level production through the production areas.
    • Manage information related to order status and shipment schedule. 

    Required Qualifications: 

    • HS Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience.
    • Associate degree or higher preferred
    • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment 
    • Experience with a MRP tool (preferably Costpoint)
    • Average experience utilizing all MS applications with an emphasis on Excel

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $36,https://400.00 - $65,https://800.00
