    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Help the planning and design of cable infrastructure systems that

      support the customer's strategic and operational

    • Conduct comprehensive site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, ensuring project scopes are well-defined and met.

    • Maintain and manage inside plant cable infrastructure, including conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber optics, and all associated elements.

    • Help the implementation of EIPs for the installation of cable racks, wiring, and the necessary testing during installation.

    • partner with project teams to ensure that cable infrastructure designs meet all technical and regulatory measures.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience

    • Experience in planning, and designing cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environment

    • Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification

    • TS/SCI clearance

    • Experience conducting site visits to evaluate telecommunications and technology systems, equipment, components

    • Strong teamwork skills that enable good working relationships with co-workers and customers

    • Experience managing the development of multiple technical projects

    • Experience maintaining Inside Plant cable infrastructure to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and all associated elements.

    • Experience developing EIPs required for installation of cable racks, wiring of the racks and testing required during installation.

    • Current on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies design/construction industry

    • Outstanding brownfield infrastructure design skills, with a strong analytical approach to problem-solving

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
