Leidos Defense has a dynamic opportunity for a Remedy BMC Discovery Administrator/Developer to work at our customer site at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC), Suitland, MD. In this role you will provide BMC Discovery and Asset Management Administration and development for application users throughout the National Maritime Intelligence Center and around the world. You'll perform and oversee installations, changes or upgrades to the BMC Discovery and Asset Management, and coordinate with local IT representatives to ensure all configuration items associated with this Order, such as hardware, software, documentation and licenses.

As the Discovery expert, you’ll be working with a team of forward thinking, innovative, and highly motivated Remedy Engineers dedicated to implementing and leveraging the latest capabilities and features of Discovery and ITSM. What Will You Do
-Install, configure, administer, and deploy Asset Management, BMC Discovery, and ITSM Suite components.
-Perform BMC Discovery 20.x administration to include start anywhere application mapping, collaborative application mapping, application mapping using TPL, scanning networks, maintaining appliances, CMDB synchronization, creating and editing patterns templates, and developing custom reports using BMC Discovery reporting features and Smart Reporting.
-Scan networked assets, execute reconciliation procedures, and update the configuration management database.
-Provide technical support for operations and environment aspects of the customer’s Enterprise ITSM Suite which serves customers, engineers, user-support groups, management and others in the NMIC and its customers.
-Meet with representatives from the Help/Service Desk and Tier III Support Teams to discuss changes and refinements to the BMC Discovery application and emerging trends that indicate improved efficiency and quality of the CMDB.
-Support application users located throughout the National Capital Region and regional entities
Your Areas of Knowledge & Expertise (job qualifications)
-A Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of relevant work experience; additional years may be required in lieu of a degree
EXPERIENCE IN:
-BMC Discovery Administration and Configuration
-Asset management and CMDB
-Business analysis on data using BMC Smart Reporting or comparable reporting tools
-Remedy ©ITSM Suite administration and development.
Security Clearance & Certifications Required
-A current DoD Top Secret/SCI
-ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification
-A current CompTIA Security+ certification

Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00
