Life Sciences of the Leidos Health Group is seeking an individual who will serve as the Leidos Lead for Engagement and Retention Efforts in support of the All of Us Research Program in North Bethesda, MD. This is NOT a laboratory research position.
A position is available for a biomedical scientist with experience managing enrollment and retention processes for clinical studies. The All of Us Research Program (All of Us) is building a cohort of 1 million people that reflect the diversity of the U.S., cover the lifespan, and have shared common data elements. The program collects a wide variety of health data from sources including biospecimens, physical measurements, genomic profiles, mobile health devices, and medical histories to describe that cohort In support of the program, we are seeking a dedicated individual who can serve as the Leidos Team’s primary liaison for the program’s engagement and retention efforts.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing or supporting All of Us enrollment projects including some that are collaborations between internal divisions, NIH institutes and centers, or with program awardees. She or he will be responsible for supporting and managing a number of collaborative efforts and internal processes. An important aspect of this work includes understanding the All of Us enrollment and retention processes and data collection efforts to assist the program in data sourcing, interpretation, and utilization, which will be used in development of future protocol versions. Some travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The position requires a PhD with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of program or project management experience. The successful candidate should also bring demonstrated knowledge of data management, product management, or process facilitation, ideally related to or in support of the design and execution of complex cohort studies. Candidates should have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate academic and scientific concepts to varied constituencies, the ability to collaborate with researchers and other All of Us stakeholders, experience in developing and setting strategic priorities, and managing data resources. Visual and group communication skills including facilitation or graphic design are plus.
