arfighter? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security efforts with lasting impact. As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer, you'll help shape secure systems and architectures that protect sensitive data across multiple environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Duties may include Systems Engineering fundamentals such as requirement development, baseline architecture design, condition simulations and analysis, supporting process development and improvement initiatives

• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave systems.

• Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with IA regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Apply knowledge of IA policies and RMF processes to support security planning, risk analysis, and authorization activities.

• Support the enforcement of trusted relationships across external systems and architectures, ensuring consistent application of agency security policies.

• Develop and validate system security requirements, contributing to secure system design and implementation across multiple enclaves and classification levels.

• Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance, providing expert feedback to stakeholders.

• Recommend system-level security solutions and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• 14+ years of Information Security experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field OR 18+ years of directly related information security experience without a degree

• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.

• Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

• Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Data Management, Systems Engineering, and C4ISR systems integration

• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or IAT Level II (i.e., CAP, or Security + CE)

• Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS environments and cloud security integration

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
