Leidos is seeking a Sr. Oracle DBA who enjoys working in a dynamic fast-paced environment to support the ALTESS Contract in Radford, VA.    

POSITION SUMMARY:                                                                  
This full-time Oracle database administrative position will challenge the candidate to expand their skillsets and learn new technologies in a fast-paced and friendly environment.  Average 40 hours per week with a blend of onsite and telework. Currently, onsite work is required 2 days a week, and telework is 3 days a week.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Must have an active Secret Security clearance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Design, installation, configuration, administration, patching, upgrades, tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting with the Oracle Enterprise Database in a UNIX environment on physical and virtual servers
•Backup and recovery experience using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) with Veritas NetBackup.
•Shell scripting experience in PL/SQL.
•Performance tuning experience for both transactional and analytical workloads.
•Troubleshoot utilizing database and operating system capabilities.
•Remain up-to-date on vendor technologies and recommended best practices in a highly-available, enterprise environment.
•Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant work experience.
•Experience with Oracle 12c, 19c including Multitenant, RAC, DataGuard, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and Oracle Automatic Storage Management Cluster File System (ACFS).
•Experience in MySQL and EDB/PostgreSQL.
•Experience including data-at-rest, over-the-wire encryption using pkcs12 containers, and transparent data encryption (TDE) for Oracle and MySQL.
•System administration experience.
•Excellent documentation and interpersonal skills.

•CompTIA Security+
•Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, etc.) – can be waived for 30 days after project join date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Informatica 1205.0609
•Oracle BI (OBIEE) 12.2.1
•Platforms:  Linux x86-64 with SELinux
•Experience with any of the following is beneficial
    •Oracle Weblogic 11g and 12c
    •Oracle Business Intelligence 11g and 12c
    •Oracle Application Express
    •Oracle REST Data Services
    •Oracle Forms and Reports
    •Informatica PowerCenter
    •Apache Tomcat
    •Working knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
