In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing program management support across a portfolio of projects related to cryptographic key management and information assurance. The candidate will routinely work with the Government customer and stakeholders as well as the development staff and engineers.
As a Senior Program Manager, you'll directly support the Division by achieving program objectives and will interface with your customers; you will also have an opportunity to serve as a Supervisor to projects when needed. The Program Manager is the primary Leidos point of contact with our customer and must establish and maintain relationships with other government organizations and stakeholders. Objectives of this position also include establishing and executing to a strategic vision and growing the program to support evolving customer requirements while meeting internal financial objectives. The successful candidate will be required to brief senior management. They may also be responsible for managing or overseeing some other projects, proposals, opportunity captures, and other activities as required.
Responsibilities include day-to-day operations support of contract, subcontract, finance, security, staffing, and procurement. The PM will monitor and manage program performance, risk, cost and schedule; quality review and submission of all deliverables; and preparation of contract modification proposals (technical and cost). The selected candidate will need to possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff members and peers within the division as well as our external Government customers.
Position responsibilities will include:
Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract.
Provide technical leadership for multiple projects by supporting technical planning, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness for total software systems.
Manage and control schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.
Provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
Provide support and leadership to marketing and business development initiatives.
Provide recommendations for resolution of technical problems; and provide management oversight to assigned program personnel, both Leidos and subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality of task completion and deliverables in accordance with the contract.
Must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.
Option to work a 9/80 work schedule (i.e., 9 hour days, then work 8 hours on first Friday and off the second Friday)

Requirements (Education /Years of Experience/Skill Sets - both technical & soft skill):
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, or a related field and at least 12+ years of related experience or a Master's Degree and at least 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a Degree.
Ten (10) years of experience managing software development programs.
Ten (10) years of experience supervising or leading team projects.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management fundamentals; Initiating, Planning, Monitoring & Controlling, Executing and Closing of Projects.
Eight (8) years of experience managing large programs with multiple projects and contractor teams executed under DoD-sponsored Contracts.
Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms.
Experience with engineering program and project management activities including reading engineering drawings, developing requirements, coordinating subcontracts and subcontractors, scheduling, project execution and wrap-up, and reporting.
Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills for communicating with customers and or clients; strong problem solving and people skills for collaborating with team.
Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI clearance in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) process.
Familiarity with modern-day Cybersecurity and Cryptographic Key Management solutions.
PMP Certified
Master's Degree in a relevant technical or management field.
DoD 8570 approved security certification (i.e., Security +) (Will be required 90 days after hire).

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
