Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug web application software using modern software development languages and tools, such as Java, Angular, Javascript, Servlet, IntelliJ IDEA, VScode.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters.
Utilize project tracking and version control tools such as Jira, Subversion, CVS, to manage work and collaborate with your team.
Support creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
Plan and estimate development tasks in sprint planning.
Develop maintainable code that matches requirements and specification.
Develop automated tests leveraging a continuous integration process such as Jenkins and Selenium.
Build software solutions where the solution is not always well defined but always considers the customer first.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross-functional team environment.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires Master degree and 10+ years' experience, additional experience in lieu of master degree
10+ years Java development.
Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, SQL, REST, Servlet, Oracle
Hands-on experience with Maven, Ant, SVN and CVS
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux
Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team.
Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
