    Position summary

    CONOPs, architecture diagrams, etc.)

    • Develop schedules for features; Perform backlog grooming

    • Write and review documentation
    • Serve as a team lead
    • Create various status reports

    • Support O&M requirements and processes to include project planning, management, control, and risk mitigation management.

    • Document and/or validate system design(s) against as-is implementation to identify and characterize system performance measured against customer expectations.

    • Provide engineering support to modernize and transform existing and new data formats.

    • Provide cross-directorate product team support to engage stakeholders in the completion of assigned tasking.

    • Document dataflow processes and designs in accordance with customer driven data management standards and Enterprise Data Header (EDH) initiatives.

    • Experience and understanding of the customer's data lifecycle management processes and guidelines.

    • Experience supporting an IT program with multiple projects.

    • Experience delivering cloud-based systems and applications in the customer's network environment.

    • Experience working with a wide variety of storage systems. (e.g. block, object, SAN, tape)

    • Domain knowledge and hands on experience working in the customer's mission environment.

    • Experience working with the customer's data processing file formats and file types.

    • Experience working with the customer's Big Data, data analytic, and cloud storage systems.

    • Experience working with data driven workflows.

    • Experience with customer data tagging, data sanitization, and data sharing rules.

    • Experience working with data routing services.

    • Experience and/or familiarity with STE/STN compliance objectives.

    • Hands-on experience working with enterprise-wide systems, infrastructure solutions, and services.

    Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

    Basic Qualifications

    Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience leading a team that implements agile scrum methodology for software development. Additional skills/experience:

    • Team Leadership

    • Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts

    • Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations

    • Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (as well as other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes) required.

    • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

    • Agile experience

    • Experience with MS Project and/or Visio

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
