Participate and collaborate with team members to assess tickets to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria
Collaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Developers) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets
Aid in the creation of documentation and processes to increase the quality of the systems in a repeatable manner.
Aid in the creation of checklists and processes to ensure that each new milestone passes all Minimum Viable Product (MVP) requirements.
Aid in the creation of harmonious quality control procedures that can be applied across the entirety of the Aero Production Systems.
Review customer feedback and update documents/checklists to ensure errors are not repeated.
Work with developers to create and enhance tools that help with our workflow.
Work with the team to come up with new ideas for tools and processes that would reduce manual efforts.
Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts are maintained the continuously improved using task management system (JIRA/Confluence)
Perform job duties within Commercial cloud development environments
Provide feedback to the development team with QA trends and other process improvement feedback recommendations.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have BS degree preferably in Computer Science or related program and 8-12 years of related experience or Masters degree with 6-10 years. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
Active TS to start and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
Ability to test both back end and front end applications processes
Knowledge of or direct experience with software performance testing practices
Significant experience with creation, authoring, execution and documentation of test cases/result sets for software products in an agile cadence
Demonstrated ability to work within collaborative environment to execute test cases complimentary to development efforts
Knowledge of working in an SAFe Agile and DevOps development environment and tempo
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience reviewing outputs and capable of tracking test failures back to code changes that resulted in bugs
Capable of review code check-ins to understand the impact of code changes on system functionality and potential applications bugs.
Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
At least 4 years of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and git version control
Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
At least 4 years of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets
At least 4 years of experience with AWS cloud formation templates
At least 4 years of experience with Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
