Timing & Sync Tier III SME

The Timing & Sync Tier III SME will support a high priority, high visibility implementation project in support of a very large, high profile DISA Timing and Sync Program. The Timing & Sync Tier III SME will be responsible for providing full support to the customer on multiple, simultaneous tasks.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the operation & testing of legacy T&S equipment (https://e.g., legacy GPS receivers, T&S distribution devices). 

• Prepare Technical Training Manuals for T&S stakeholders to operate & maintain the T&S system. 

• Provide T&S training for DISA HQ, O&M, and site resources as requested by the Government PM. 

• Support Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) submissions to Navy Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in a timely manner. 

• Serve as the Timing Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expertise and guidance on timing-related aspects within the organization's projects or systems.

• Analyze and evaluate timing requirements and constraints for projects, identifying potential timing issues or challenges and proposing solutions to mitigate risks for new and existing T&S systems.

• Interact with various DOD entities.

• Develops, maintains, and updates technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, application/system design, and network architecture and design.

• Responsible for leading Working groups

• Support development of Engineering and Systems design documentation and Engineering Implementation Plans.

• Track hardware, software, architecture changes to drive updates to design documentation and other deliverables.

• Provide content and guidance for training products.

• Generate in-depth contributions training curriculum.

• Supports systems development, technical planning, development, integration, and verification and validation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience with, at least, 8 years of prior relevant experience.

• Familiarity with databases

• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Pay Range $97,https://500.00 - $176,https://250.00
