    The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for a Training Developer in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

    Program Summary
     

    Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a newly-awarded, large, multi-year contract that provides hardware and software sustainment of large IT systems. Contractors perform dataflow changes, lifecycle management including modernization of aging hardware and software, as well as system monitoring.

    Job Summary

    The Training Developer’s primary objective is to work with Instructors to update and develop curricula based upon existing and emerging next generation wireless technologies. The Training Developer is responsible for assisting in the development of very technical course materials including syllabi, lesson plans and outlines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assessment and evaluation criteria, role plays, and general training materials. The Training Developer shall also assist in course material quality assurance, evaluations, and revisions, as necessary. The Training Developer works with Instructors to create and manage a course maintenance program to facilitate the iterative evaluation and update of all course materials. The Training Developer will provide train the trainer support for various mission partners to train their staff on various issues to include Just in Time (JIT), platform delivery, sync and async training delivery. The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in the following: user guides, performing basic system installation and configurations, converting training requirements into training courses/materials/guides, preparing training activities, lessons plans, performing virtual/on-site training, and conducting assessments.

    Required Qualifications

    • Five (5) years of experience developing course materials, to include syllabi, assessments, practical exercises, role plays, and standard documentation.
    • Three (3) years of experience demonstrating the application of word processing software and formatting in accordance with applicable NSA policies.
    • Three (3) years of experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (EXCEL, Word, Access and PowerPoint) and instructional tools including web-based, classroom and video teleconferencing.
    • TS/SCI with Polygraph
    • Experience with:
      • Developing user guides
      • performing basic system installation and configurations
      • converting training requirements into training courses/materials/guides
      • preparing training activities and lessons plans
      • Performing virtual/on-site training
      • Conducting assessments

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $59,150.00 - $91,000.00 - $122,850.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
